If the government(s) continue on this electric vehicle path we will see our vehicle fleet age and start to resemble Cuba’s. I had an electric car. It was OK, and I appreciate the contribution of all the taxpayers who pitched in to help me buy it. I won’t be buying another one. Too risky. I’m a decent backyard mechanic and with you tube videos I figure I can keep the RAM running forever. I have a 67 VW in the barn, just in case, and we know from Woody Allen movies that they run forever.
Remind me what year China (and India) are supposed to start toeing the line with regard to the Paris Climate Accord? Was it 2030 or basically never? There needs to be a term for “beyond absurdity”!
The reason for the absurdity of the logic is that the base assumption of the problem is misunderstood by the greenies and their solution is a poor choice.

When will the USA wake up and follow an effective energy policy to address CO2 emissions and security: two, five, 10 years, never?

How convenient for China! So EV batteries from China are stores of coal, making EVs even less carbon free. What a scam.
