Says Bloomberg News, not Michael Bloomberg, who has vowed to slash U.S. natural gas power plant capacity in half, block all new natural gas power plants and close ALL U.S. coal-fired power plants.
Thank you, Dick. I really appreciate your comments. You have been writing about these extremists for years and the alarm cannot be sounded too many times. Thanks for your support, Dick. Ed
Now I wish some of our "revered" leaders here in Texas would take the bull by the horns and do something about renewables and halt the march across our state before anymore of our food producing lands are decimated.
Maybe too late for all the good Blackland Prairie it looks like it is already been devoured!
I'm not sure what people don't get about the importance of food security as well as energy security!
Thank you for your great comments, JF. I totally agree with you. The attack on food security is another aspect of the rampant Malthusian that has come out of the shadows. Covering up productive farmland with solar panels is another thing that is impacting food security. Also allowing the Chinese to buy millions of acres of farm land is another. Only a change in US leadership can stop this madness. Ed
yes - it is getting so bad... China has to be stopped from buying farmland.
Interesting thing in a conversation yesterday with some people - they did not want to permit development on prime farmland, of any kind, not just solar., even if it helped stop food insecurity.
I'm not one for regulation but there seems to be this use of our lack of regulation, and landowner rights that will eventually take all this land away from us.
Solar, conservation easements, and our public lands will all be taken first, especially if NAC's come back - different name and new look, this time they will push harder and public opinion may not be able to stop it! Hopefully I'll be dead and gone by then and they can spread my ashes at the top of the hill!
I agree, JF. I too am generally anti-regulation but the quiet takeover of American farmland is the result of a lack of regulations No other country in the world will allow what is being allowed in the US. Only a change in administrations can put a stop to it. Ed
Thank you Ed! It is good that you are helping expose Bloomberg and the NGO Extremists that are working in earnest to strengthen China while at the same time weakening America. Keep up your great work!
